Many men want to satisfy not only themselves but also their partners when it comes to sexual performance such as how to last longer in bed. However, solely thinking about it may lead to anxiety which will then result in performance issues.
Sexual performance can improve by doing certain lifestyle changes which I will go through in this article.
1.Never Neglect Foreplay
If you have watched porn before, you’re most likely moving forward towards the scene where penetration occurs. Neglecting foreplay not only means that the sex is dull, but it can also lead to performance issues along the way as well.
Men who experience erectile dysfunction would be pleased to know that the vast majority of women actually love having foreplay in conjunction with vaginal penetration.
Foreplay may include touching, kissing, and oral sex. If you do not believe me, a 2017 study revealed that only 18% of the female respondents have an orgasm without foreplay.
2.Do the Start and Stop Technique
Men who seem to ejaculate faster than others can try the start and stop technique. The premise of this technique would be to pull out your penis when you feel that ejaculation is imminent.
You then stop for a minute or two- taking deep breaths along the way and then continue having intercourse. This will train your mind and body to hold off on ejaculating for a couple more minutes which may lead to longer sex.
3.Never Be Afraid to Try Something New
Whenever you have sex with your partner, the activity itself may feel routine given enough time. This leads to lackluster sex as you and your partner might not feel the same excitement as you did during the first time you’ve had sex.
However, this can be remedied by embracing new possibilities. Try different positions, have sex in different locations, and even do some fun activities while you’re at it as well. In other words, there are so many things that you can do to spice things up.
4.Keep Your Stress at Bay
Stress and anxiety are two things that can contribute to lower sexual performance in men. It is best that you manage your stress so that you will be more in tune with the actual activity as opposed to just thinking about your own performance.
Some of the things that you can do to help mitigate the effects of stress and anxiety are exercising, getting enough sleep, being “in the moment” during sex, meditating, going to therapy, and so much more.
Cigarette smoking not only leads to an increased risk of cancers but it can also lead to erectile dysfunction as well. If you are smoking frequently, it may be time to cut the habit.
6.Communicate with Your Partner
If you and your partner are experiencing a rough patch, sex is something that is often affected because of it. Openly communicating with your partner and coming up with solutions can actually help improve sex, so if anything, talk to your partner about any concerns.
There are some herbal remedies such as Ginseng, Pinus Pinaster, and Maca Root, among many others, have proven to increase libido in men. Before trying them out, though, it is best that you consult with your doctor about this.
